Accelare’s founders were key contributors to best-accelare authorsselling books of Michael Hammer and James Champy including: REENGINEERING THE CORPORATION, THE REENGINEERING HANDBOOK, AND X-ENGINEERING THE CORPORATION. Accelare was fundamental in partnering with Microsoft to create the Microsoft Business Architecture Framework.

Accelare was founded by Jack Calhoun and Mark McCormick in 2001, with headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. Today, Accelare services customers nationally and internationally, with additional offices in Dallas and Minneapolis.

Accelare founder and CEO, Jack Calhoun, is the leading expert in technology-enabled strategy and operating model design. Prior to founding Accelare with Mark McCormick, Jack was a group director of Perot Systems. He had sold his previous company, Business Architects, to Ross Perot in 1997. Jack began his consulting career with Arthur Andersen and CSC. Jack is an Executive in Residence at Babson College and faculty member of the Process Management Research Center. Jack was a contributor to the best-selling book REENGINEERING THE CORPORATION by James Champy and Michael Hammer. Jack recently co-authored the article, THE NEXT REVOLUTION IN PRODUCTIVITY, which was was featured in Harvard Business Review in June of 2008 

Mark McCormick is the President of Accelare, leading the company's consulting practice and operations. As company cofounder with Jack Calhoun, Mark brings expertise in business strategy, business process reengineering, application development, and financial management to help clients overcome their challenges. Prior to founding Accelare, Mark was a director for Perot Systems and worked with clients creating and implementing their e-commerce strategies. His client work has contributed to several books, including X-ENGINEERING THE CORPORATION by James Champy, and he has authored and spoken on the transformative power of business process management in a number of client and industry-sponsored forums.
