Derek Edson joined Accelare in April of 2002. Derek has helped clients create and use analytical and financial decision support models as well as forecasting tools to build business cases for investment and reengineering initiatives. He has worked with client finance departments to accurately calculate initiatives’ potential savings—and he has helped deliver those savings.
At ground level, Derek has conducted client workshops to document basic process analysis to identify bottlenecks, breakdowns, and inefficiency in current state operations. He has guided client teams in process and performance re-engineering. Most recently, Derek has spent the past two years working with Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP) in Boston, Massachusetts. During his time at NHP, Derek led and contributed to several successful initiatives. Among those initiatives were the outsourcing of NHP’s QNXT infrastructure and NHP’s business intelligence program.
Prior to joining Accelare, Derek was a Controller for Electronic Managed Account Technologies, Inc. a financial services company in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton and a Masters in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
As CFO, Derek manages Accelare’s financial reporting and monitors for both internal and external revenue and expense activity. If there are questions regarding expenses and billing details can be obtained through contacting the CFO.
