Accelare Careers: Senior QA Engineer

In the world of Digital Transformation, business model design is critical to achieving true digital transformation

In the world of digital transformation, software developers, solution architects, customer experience and QA engineers team together to design new business models that foster true transformation. At Accelare, we’re building an environment where these skills coupled with ServiceNow Platform as a Service (PaaS) are a critical part of business model design. Our unique, team-based approach coupled with the tools and skills we foster, will help you grow and prosper in your role as a design engineer. You will love what you do and the impact you have.

Who Is Accelare?

Accelare is a Boston based consulting firm that delivers transformational solutions to their clients through a lens of people, process, and technology. Our philosophy is that we deliver results with, not to, our clients. We work with a wide range of organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to start ups, governments, education institutions and non-profits. We are seeking talented individuals to join our growing team who can apply their IQ and EQ (emotional intelligence) in order to provide out-of-the-box ideas in order to solve complex problems

Digital transformation design evaluates how new technology such as AI, IoT, Cloud Computing, Big Data, etc. impact the business model (value proposition, cost structure, market segmentation, channels, revenue streams, key partnerships, resources, and activities). Business model design engineers are platform masters who are able supercharge an organization’s digital business strategy through application of breakthrough process designs supported by these cutting-edge technologies. They understand how to optimize the value of the ServiceNow platform based on a client’s unique business problem. Business model design engineers recognize that achieving digital transformation goes beyond software – the software enables new processes and new models of work. The engineer uses process reengineering, agile/scrum, prescriptive design and other contemporary techniques to facilitate digital transformation not simply automation.

We don’t believe a team of engineers should be focused exclusively on implementations based on requirements shared by the business. Our engineers are not order takers, they’re part of the team responsible for establishing breakthrough process designs. Without business model design engineers, many business problems are addressed in silos, leading to incremental improvements that focus on the present, and not the future. We rely on our entire team to design and execute our breakthrough process design.

  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Must have a sense of ownership of strategic design and implementation.
  • Must be interested in creative, complex-problem solving and outside the box thinking.
  • Must be results driven.

We understand the value of real-world experience for aspiring engineers which is why we parallel foundational training with hands-on client work. Our team learns with training while helping our clients achieve breakthrough results. All of our design engineers work with our clients directly, not as requirements gatherers but as part of strategic design and execution. Through training and hands-on experience, our team of design engineers shift from gathering requirements to asking questions such as:

  • What does the strategic design and implementation roadmap look like?
  • How does this software enable, drive, or contribute to strategy?
  • What results-oriented impact will this software have on the client?
  • How else can this software be leveraged for this client?
